The ReelAbilities Film Festival Los Angeles team strives to make this film festival fully accessible.
1. Communication
The Department on Disability offers ASL (American Sign Language) interpretation and CART (Communication Access Real-time Translation) services for introductions, post-screening conversations, and non-film programming. Films are presented with Open Captions (OC). The following accommodations will be available in-person at our event:
- Audio description for films;
- Access to a quiet room;
- Noise canceling headphones;
- Accessibility and Accommodations table, and
- Volunteers to offer assistance at different locations throughout the venue.

3. No Barrier Access
ReelAbilities LA is committed to ensuring access for all communities. If you are unable to attend the festival in person, you can still enjoy a handful of this year’s films virtually on the Eventive platform. While not all in-person screenings will be available online, we’ll strive to record and upload Q&A sessions and panel discussions to our YouTube channel promptly.
