Volunteer registration for ReelAbilities Film Festival Los Angeles (RAFFLA) is open!
Why volunteer?
- Students can receive volunteer hours verified for school credit
- You’ll have the opportunity to meet local and international filmmakers
- Work with an exciting, diverse team who loves film
- Experience behind-the-scenes of an accessible live event
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age, or older. No special experience is necessary. Volunteers under the age of 18 years of age will need a parent or legal guardian’s permission to sign up. Minor volunteers will need to email reelabilitiesla@lacity.org to arrange a signature of a RAFFLA Minor Waiver by a guardian.
Opportunities
- Core Event Team: This team helps to facilitate the components of the festival’s event planning remotely and day of are on site to implement the components. (Event Planning, Community Outreach)
- Festival Volunteers: These volunteers sign up for shifts of work during the festival only. (Day-of-event volunteer, stage volunteer, ushering and box office)
